Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2 & 3

by ScribbleHEAD » 04 May 2010, 06:28

Anyone know where i can get copies in Europe from respectable companies? I looked at Amazon but i rarely trust people sellling used games (hell if i'm paying 89 euro's for a GC game).

I've got a wii so i can play them easily, and wanted to record a bunch of gameplay for reference.

Btw here's a nifty video showing off the TIE Hunter gameplay (bonus stuff)

Oh i so wish i could backwards engineer this and peek into the game files :S

I had this game, a year ago, for the Game Cube
Then we went to Italy on a holiday trip...

Once we came back home, all was stolen (old xbox, all games xbox+Game Cube)

I loved that game

By emulator you mean it works on other game systems or on the computer?

Yeah, typically emulators exist for programs that are no longer for sale.

For example, there's PS1 emulators, DOS emulators, N64 emulators, SNES emulators, etc.

Yep

1+ to baron! :P

The funny thing is that none of Factor 5's rogue squadron games work in emulators because they have an incredibly clever and well programmed graphics engine, so it's been impossible to emulate so far, really too bad too - because the games are just as impossible to get a hold of :(

Managed to snag a copy of each of these just a few weeks ago at a GameStop in the US. I think $20 total. So worth it.

Unfortunately I don't think you'll be able to find any other than Amazon or eBay. Might suggest eBay, if you pay via PayPal you usually have some protection against duds.

since I've played Rogue Squadron on PC, I always have been left out for the sequels since I never had a Gamecube. Now a collegue at work gave his one for uncertain time to me. Can't find any copy around here aswell but I'm going to the US soon and there I'm sure i will find it.
