I don't mind the aesthetic, but the split wing/curved tip s-foil was just a mistaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake. Reminds me of the Jellyfish design from ST'09. Wonder why.

Super weapons FTW?

Also, I agree, what an ugly X-Wing. It looks like the concept artwork from the 70's X-Wing. Either way I'm excited for new ships. Wonder what the new TIEs will look like?

Funny you should say that, they stated that it is in fact based on the original concept art for the X-wing. I do wonder what they will make TIEs look like, I kind of hope for something cool like the TIE Predator, or just TIE Defender spam. Heh.

I can't remember if the wings split like that in the concept art but I definitely remember the X-Wing having one large cylinder that split into two have cylinder engines.

It's in a book I have god knows where since I moved.

The concept had the large cylinder engines, but not the split. I had a model of the concept X-Wing as a kid XD

Just going to say, I think that the plot leak is total bullshit.

Well you know I was thinking, maybe Abrams leaked the plot and some other things on purpose, just to throw people off what the real plot is? He is a rather sneaky and secretive person, anyone remember Cloverfield and how no one had any idea what the movie was about until VERY close to its release date? And even then it was kind fuzzy.

What is this 'bad' you speak of?

Remember everyone, what is widely considered the best Star Wars movie ever made is the one where the Empire wins at the end.

Some more plot spoilers. Seems the main baddies will be the Inquisitors of course, but the main guy looks very much like High Inquisitor Tremayne in a leaked concept art picture. Interesting. Oh yeah and Han Solo captaining a SSD will be cool. Also one source says that these leaks are a result of people who got laid off leaking things. Which just teaches Disney what breaking bad already taught us, the only way to make sure people don't talk is to shiv them.
