He's still on as a consultant role, so yeah, expect the Lepus carnivorus to make an appearance.

Disney put together The Avengers and look who directed that... I just hope similar attention is given to our favourite franchise.

Here is an early preview of part 7

Actors have to play before the green background.
Everything else is computer-generated by Disney.

I think I died a little bit inside. What ever happened to live sets? I mean, I understand not everything can be a real set but say that for example someone is in a desert on Tatooine... in the original trilogy that was filmed in an actual desert. Now I know that they didnt have the tech back then, but what I'm saying is that theres an authenticity that you can't get from purely green screens.

Qi, that video was so wrong on so many levels. Yet somehow I laughed out loud.
As for Vader, he has finally completely given himself over to the dark side...NOOOO!!!

I hope you realize Qi was joking? :P

While I don't doubt a lot of it will be green screen, we don't know anything about that yet.

Harrison Ford Wants To Be in STAR WARS EPISODE 7

You probably can’t see me if you’re sitting at home, unless I left my web camera open again (which has been known to happen as my numerous sex scandals reveal), but I’m in the midst of the geekiest dance celebration ever. It’s an honest half “Wobble” and a shameful bit of the “Truffle Shuffle”.

Why am I so happy?

Harrison Ford. That damn space smuggler wants back in the Star Wars universe with EPISODE 7. You heard me right. Han Solo is coming back.

That bit of news may have shocked your system, so feel free to take some time to let this all sink in. I’ll be waiting right here, just minding my own business, not peeping at your nerdgasmic shame through my semi-legal webcam hack or anything like that.

Ahem… so are you ready for more? Apparently Ford, who’s previously disparaged his role in the Star Wars films, is eager to return, and at a spry 70 years of age, hopefully he’ll be back in proper form. With our latest news regarding Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, it looks like the original cast is more than ready to push the franchise forward.

Here’s what EW’s super secret sources had to say on the matter…

“Harrison is open to the idea of doing the movie and he’s upbeat about it, all three of them are,” said one highly placed source, referring to Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher, the trio that made a hyper-speed jump to global fame on May 25, 1977, the opening night for George Lucas’s original Star Wars film.

So what do you think? Are you ready for a true sequel?

Didn't want to make a new topic for this and it is closely related but apparently there will 5 new movies. Two will be spin offs.

Hope I posted that right ^^

While I'll never forgive Abrams for Lost; these sequels should rock! 8-)
